About Us

Scott and I both work full time "day jobs" and Knotty Stuff is currently a fun hobby. We enjoy doing shows, meeting lots of interesting people, and being exposed to beautiful Celtic artwork and crafts.
We met in 1999 and discovered a mutual love for Celtic heritage and art. In 2001, we attended our first show as vendors, the Las Cruces Renaissance Festival. Unfortunately, only my artwork was accepted (it was a juried show) but Scott built our entire booth and helped me sell lots of prints, cards, and bookmarks. He came up with the "Knotty Stuff" name shortly before that show.Scott and I got married in 2002, in Torridon, Scotland and had a beautifully themed Celtic wedding.
In the following years, we started dedicating more time to Knotty Stuff and got the website up (although it's still not a functional store yet....). We began attending more shows and now have a small regular circuit in Arizona.
